What this app does

Vanilla Bulk Product Editor lets Shopify merchants edit, import, export, delete and automate changes to their store's product catalogue. All changes are made through Shopify's official API at your instruction.

What we store

• Edit history: a record of the bulk edits, imports, exports and automated changes you run — which fields changed, previous values (so you can undo), product counts and timestamps.
• Your configurations: saved filters, automations, scheduled exports, inventory sync jobs, snippets and app settings.
• Store details: your store name, contact email and subscription plan.

What we do NOT store

• No customer personal data. Ever. Orders, customer records and payment details are never requested from your store — the app only asks Shopify for product and inventory permissions.
• No copy of your product catalogue at rest. Product data is read from Shopify when an edit or export runs, and export files are held only temporarily for download.

Where data lives

Data is processed and stored on Cloudflare's global network (Pages, Workers, D1 and KV). Edit history is retained for 30–180 days depending on your plan, then deleted automatically.

GDPR

• Customer data requests / erasure: since we hold no customer personal data, there is nothing to return or erase; we acknowledge Shopify's mandatory webhooks regardless.
• Store erasure: when you uninstall, Shopify sends a shop-redact notice ~48 hours later and we permanently delete everything we hold for your store — history, automations, configurations and settings.
